Re-awakened into Poetry

Today in English, my class was subbed by Jim Ott an instructer at "Los Plositas". He is an interesting person who today taught me a lot of about poetry that I did not so clearly understand before. He introduced the class to many other different types and styles of poetry. And elaberated on them past the poetry itself and gave us the meaning for every single line that described something. Poetry now seems a little easier now to me, knowing that I just need to express my self with the pen and I will carve my soul and mind onto the plain empty space of a blank sheet.
Tell me if this poem I made is any good lol

"You're one in a million,
my most special one,
your radiant smile is as bright as the sun,
you're smart and caring and have many great charms,
and my heart would really sing if I had you in my arms,
I'm happy you chose me from all of the rest,
and I'm proud cause I know that I got the best,
you're so cute and so sweet,
and make me happy like no one before,
I just love you so much,
my most wonderful girl......."

I was really wowed by how this movie played out. I was very confused on what the plot even was through out the video but became clear at the end. This was a very well done animation video that was cute and sad at times. I wish I could make a video with the same quality and look, but I don't even know where to start. lol XD. But this video was a very good example on our next project which will have to be an epic short movie.
